El paciente le reveló a su psiquiatra que su afición futbolística lo había llevado al extremo de empeñar la casa de la familia con tal de poder pagar un paquete de boletos y estancia en Brasil para pasar ahí toda la temporada del mundial. El Doctor se opuso en forma terminante indicándole que tal obsesión pudiera causarle auto destruírse o llegar al crimen y le exigió entregarle los boletos para asegurarse él mismo de cancelarlos y hacerle llegar su reembolso.
Horas después de cumplirle a su cliente con reintegrarle sus gastos y aceptar el agradecimiento entre lágrimas de la esposa del fanático mundialista, el psiquiatra visitó a su propio analista a quien confesó haber engañado a un paciente con tal de hacerse de un paquete de boletos y estancia en la copa mundial. El otro medico le dijo friamente: ---Si me das un boleto no te chantajeo.---

The patient told his psychiatrist that his addiction to soccer had led him to pawn his house in exchange for a travel package to Brazil that included tickets to all the World Cup games.
The Doctor opposed this action so firmly that he convinced the man to hand him the tickets and that he himself would go cancel them and would personally hand him his reimbursement to ensure that he would not delve any further into the traps of this obsession that could lead him only to self destruction or to sink into a life of crime. Hours after complying with this promise to his client and refunding him the money amidst a tearful scene of the man's wife expressing her gratitude, the psychiatrist visited his own therapist to whom he revealed having lied to a customer in order to obtain for himself the tickets to the World Cup games. The other Doctor gave him a frozen stare as he said---If you give me one of the tickets, I will not blackmail you.---
