BRAZIL SOCCER. © Carlos de la Parra. versión Español---English version follows, scroll down to read.

The patient told his psychiatrist that his addiction to soccer had led him to pawn his house in exchange for a travel package to Brazil that included tickets to all the World Cup games.
The Doctor opposed this action so firmly that he convinced the man to hand him the tickets and that he himself would go cancel them and would personally hand him his reimbursement to ensure that he would not delve any further into the traps of this obsession that could lead him only to self destruction or to sink into a life of crime. Hours after complying with this promise to his client and refunding him the money amidst a tearful scene of the man's wife expressing her gratitude, the psychiatrist visited his own therapist to whom he revealed having lied to a customer in order to obtain for himself the tickets to the World Cup games. The other Doctor gave him a frozen stare as he said---If you give me one of the tickets, I will not blackmail you.---

RING,RING...© Carlos de la Parra. micro. versión ESPAÑOL---ENGLISH version, scroll down to read.

ENGLISH VERSION.
---Hi mom. Just wanna let you know the big mastiff,Gobbler, broke loose from the leash as we walked around Rodeo Drive and dashed into the gourmet food shop and swallowed a large bucket of Beluga caviar and the man from the store told me he's billing you for it about five grand, because fortunately the bucket was not full. But that's not the worst part. I don't know what got into the dog's head with everyone yelling at him that he ran into the antiques palace at the mall and vomited on a ballroom size Bohara rug and the owner almost had a heart attack and he was yelling in a foreign tongue and when he finally came back to English he told me he will ship the rug to you and bill you for it, he mentioned an amount in millions.----
---What the heck were you doing with the dog in Rodeo drive? You should have taken him to Walmart.---
----But they no longer let us go near Walmart since that time he was eating the tri tip steaks and growled at the manager when he complained about it.---
----Well I had enough of you and that dog! Now that rug will be placed into your room when it gets here and I will deduct the cost from your allowance for a whole year---
----That's not fair mom. I need the money to get the Ferrari out of the shop. That is like living in hell.---
----Well you don't live in hell, you live in Beverly Hills, this will teach you to be more careful with that dog.---
This psychodrama involved the everyday life for Dermott and his mother since the father, the banker, had left them to go live with a younger woman as a way to rid himself of this dysfunctional family.
A few weeks later, the rug already cleaned and installed in Dermott's room, the mother was in Vegas gambling on a lucky streak, she had just hit three million in cash on the roulette as she smoked like a maniac when her heart exploded as she collapsed on her stack of chips and alcoholic beverages.
Her ex husband, the banker, showed up hours later to cash in his wife's winnings, and destined a tiny slice of that for a modest funeral with cremation of the remains. At a moment when he walked one of the hallways of the Bellagio he poured the ashes on a large public ashtray and internally celebrated the good riddance of the costly neurotic bitch.
To make sure there would be no inheritance money and assets detoured from his bankster's pocket he operated a procedure in which a psychiatric team committed his son Dermott to a counseling center
in a secluded countryside institution where he could chill for a few years into maturity
